An REI Trail Chair Makes Me the Best Motorcycle Camping Chair
I finally got myself a folding fabric trail chair. One of those sorts that you set on the ground and has straps on the sides that hold up the back? I call it my Hippie Chair. :-)
The darn thing doesn't look like it would work... but it actually gives you the back support to make a tired biker down right comfortable!
Since it's kind of difficult to carry around much of a folding camping chair on a motorcycle... or any sort of a chair with a frame...
... and since there just ain't that awful much headroom in the back packing style tent that a fella's likely using for a motorcycle camping tent, to allow the use of something with a 'lift-his-butt-off-the-ground' frame under it...
... I've decided that a flat, fits-on-the-bottom-of-a-duffle for transporting, and allows a guy pretty good comfort inside the tent... REI Trail Chair, makes a pretty good motorcycle camping chair!
It takes a twisted up Ol' geezer like me a few seconds to get my butt down on the ground and situated... but once I'm settled in that Ol' Trail Chair, I'm pretty dang comfortable!... just have to make sure I've brought my beer with me... or that somebody around is in a 'giving' mood!
... and I get to use my laptop... as a laptop... though... even though I am fightin' gravity some... I don't have enough lap... to really carry my laptop very well! :-) ... I might just have to spring for one of those new, lil' 10" notebook machines...
Would fit my spindly lil' butt, and the lap in front of it, better for sure... and it'd be be easier to pack on a scooter to boot!...
Yeah, yeah I know... "Leave your damn laptop at home... and RIDE!"... right? ... but... this Ol' site won't get wrote... if I do that... and I need the work. ;-)
